The Best Chocolate Icing I Ever Made


1 package of semi-sweet chocolate bits
1/2 cup light cream
1 cup butter or margerine
2-1/2 cups 10X sugar AKA confectioner's or powdered sugar


In a medium sauce pan, combine the chocolate bits, cream, and butter and heat until melted and smooth.
Remove from heat.
With a whisk, blend in the 10X sugar.
Set the bowl over ice and beat it until it is cool and holds it's shape.
(I refrigerate it and beat it occcassionally until it's cool and spreadable)
